Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be
worldwide on November 6th, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
No word yet on last-gen consoles, we’ll let you know if we hear more.
Fans can also preorder the title now at retailers worldwide.
According
to an extensive preview of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 by Mashable (taken
down), the game will only be launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and
PC. In addition, in-game screenshots of the game were also shown off.
The preview establishes the release date of the game as Friday, November 6, confirming the leaks released earlier this week.
The game will feature a brand new movement system, including wall running as well as jet packs to help players move through the air. Reports state that if players do not want to use these movements, they don’t have to.
Black Ops 3 includes a new specialist character system in multiplayer inspired by Destiny. Nine specialists, each with two abilities, are featured in the title. Players get to pick one specialist and one of the powers before every match.
Abilities for these Specialists range from a robot arm transforming into a gun to being able to see through walls.
Furthermore, the minimum required specifications for the game has been revealed. Those looking to battle it out on PC will need at least 6GB RAM and an Intel Core i3-530.
